Djokovic, Nadal, Murray? It’s all to play at Wimbledon 2012

Posted by on May 17, 2012

Wimbledon, tennis´ premier sporting event, takes place in London in June, kicking off a great summer of sport in the capital.

Tennis´ most iconic Grand Slam sees the game´s elite compete for dominance on grass at the All England Lawn Tennis club. Can Novak Djokovic continue his recent spell of dominance and capture a second successive Wimbledon title? Will Rafa Nadal strike back? Or is it Andy Murray´s time to shine?

The women´s game hangs even more in the balance. Petra Kvitova is the current champ, but faces stiff competition from Australian Open winner (and current World #1) Victoria Azarenka, former champ Maria Sharapova and, of course, the ever-impressive Williams sisters.

If you´re planning a visit to London in June to watch tennis´ most famous Grand Slam and want to watch the action on Centre Court or sample strawberries and cream on Henman Hill, then you are going to need somewhere to stay.

If spending two weeks in a hotel isn´t for you, then we have a range of apartments in Central London available for rent this summer.
