Area Description
Albert Embankment is a new and very trendy, fast developing residential area on the south bank of the Thames between Vauxhall and Lambert Bridge. Across the river, within easy walking distance is the Milbank area with the Tate Britain Art Gallery as well as the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. The location is delightful for exploring Lambert Gardens with Lambeth Palace, the historic London residence of Archbishops of Canterbury since the 13th century. A river path offers an interesting walk all the way to the London Eye and the National Theatre, all part of an inspiring and increasingly popular area: the South Bank. The apartment is also well placed for Waterloo, Covent Garden and the West End. There are lovely restaurants and grocery shops in the neighbourhood as well as a good selection of bus routes along the embankment.
