Pont Street is a fashionable street brilliantly located between Kightsbridge (approximately 7 minutes walk to the tube station) and Sloan Square (approximately 10 minute walk) giving you the best of both the upmarket shops, restaurants and cafes of Sloan Square, Chelsea, and the ultimate shopping available in Knightsbridge.
The buildings along Pont Street are beautifully tall red brick period buildings. You will also notice the lovely St Columbia’s Church at the end of the street. This home is just moments from the amenities of the upmarket and very famous Harrods Department store. In just 12 short minutes you can walk to Hyde Park to enjoy the greenery.

General

Warmly decorated and nicely furnished, this apartment is a comfortable home in a prime location on the fourth floor of a beautiful period building with LIFT. There is also a lovely outdoor terrace offering stunning views of the rooftops and overlooks the beautiful Harrods building. Wifi Internet provided. This is a strictly non smoking property. The small lift leads directly into the apartment.

Decor

Typically English and warm decor with charming Victorian furniture.

Receptions

The lovely and light open plan sitting and dining room has two comfortable sofas and an arm chair, a television with freeview channels, a piano and a beautiful dining table with enough room to seat 6 guests however an extra leaf is available enabling it easily to accommodate 8. The flooring is carpeted in a homely beige colour.

Kitchen

The bright kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, hob oven microwave and coffee machine. The kitchen opens up to the lovely outdoor terrace and has beautiful views over the rooftops toward Harrods and is perfect for a lovely afternoon drink or just to enjoy the views and fresh air. The kitchen also has a dishwasher and a washing machine.

Bedrooms

The spacious master bedroom has a double bed with plenty of storage space and is located at the back on the building overlooking the lovely view towards Harrods. The second bedroom is located on the second floor and has a single bed with a trundle bed underneath.

Bathrooms

The bathroom on the first floor has a walk in shower, a loo and wash basin with storage space in the mirror cupboard above the wash basin. The second bathroom is located on the second floor and has brilliant views from the large window. This bathroom has a bath tub with a hand held shower head, a loo and wash basin.

Why stay in Knightsbridge:

Home to numerous Embassies & Consulates, Knightsbridge is one of the most prestigious addresses in London. Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in the city and has the beautiful Kensington Palace at the west side of the park which you can visit and see The Queens State Apartments, Palace Gardens and Kings Gallery.

You can walk along the Serpentine to the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen and have a leisurely lunch and watch the world go by/people watch.
Carlton Towers which is on Sloane Street is famous for lunch at the Rib Room.

After lunch we suggest a trip to Harvey Nichols or Harrods and shop for everything under one roof (if you are visiting London at Christmas, you must visit Harrods as it has a department dedicated to Christmas). The surrounding area is full of designer shops, art galleries and superb restaurants. At the bottom of Sloane Street you will find Sloane Square which leads on to the famous Kings Road. Knightsbridge is mainly about shopping. Sloane Street, Walton Street and Beauchamp Place have all the trendiest designer shops. It is also home to some of the best restaurants in the city.
