A charming, recently refurbished 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom terraced house in a residential street between the Kings Road Chelsea and the Fulham Road.


Area Description

This is a favoured and quiet residential area yet it is only a few minutes walk from the trendy King's Road, with its wide choice of restaurants, cafés, pubs, antique dealers and shops of all kinds. There are supermarkets, smaller shops and cinemas nearby. The tube from Fulham Broadway takes you in no time to the West End, Covent Garden and Soho, and for football followers Chelsea's Stamford Bridge ground is 5 minutes away. Chelsea Harbour and the riverside offer a change of scene and some interesting walks.


Property Description

General

A bright and sunny 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment on the upper ground floors of a converted house with a small patio and spacious roof terrace complete with beautiful outdoor furniture. Wi-fi available. A strictly non smoking property inside and outside. Sleep 6 guests.

Decor

Traditional English with warm colours and some modern touches.

Receptions

The cosy sitting room, lit by tall windows overlooking the gardens, has high ceilings and a fireplace with a working gas ‘log’ fire. Muted sofas and bright decorative touches make an inviting living space. There is also a writing bureau, TV, and DVD.

Kitchen

The light and welcoming kitchen has a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer built into a range of wood-paneled cupboards. There is a dining table to seat four and French doors onto the balcony, the perfect spot for an early coffee or evening drinks.

Bedrooms

The master bedroom has an en-suite with a Super king size bed (180x200cm), pretty drapes, side tables and TV. The second bedroom overlooks the gardens and has twin beds (90x190cm) and an en-suite shower room. Recently added is the king bedroom and en-suite bathroom bath, the bed can be split into two beds.

Bathrooms

The master bathroom has a tub, hand held shower unit, wash basin and loo. The second bathroom has a shower, wash hand basin and loo. The recently added en suite bathroom, with bath is on the top floor.

Why stay in Fulham:

Fulham is a residential part of Kensington and Chelsea, with colourful cottages and big houses with lush gardens. It traces its history back to the 7th century.

A very popular and upmarket area of London, Fulham has plenty to offer in terms of bars, eateries and greenery. Brilliantly situated in West London, Fulham boarders with famous Chelsea and the beautiful settings of the River Thames. This lovely area of London is very family orientated and residential with plenty of parks and greens to enjoy: in the summer there are also open-air film screenings which we would most definitely recommend. The main attractions are along the Fulham Road leading to the Fulham Palace Gardens and the Thames. The area is dotted with antique shops, sumptuous flower and vegetable outlets, auction houses and furniture designer shops. There is an urban feel here with bustling cafes, shops and restaurants lining Fulham Road and New Kings Road. Fulham has a relaxed feel with numerous boutiques (Have a look at Indian Summer, Fulham Road).

We would suggest a worthwhile visit to the Fulham Palace where in summer you can picnic on the grounds or if the weather isn’t brilliant, eat scrumptious cake from the Fulham Palace café. You could even take in the wonderful views on one of the many river walks or if it takes your fancy, hop on a Thames Clipper river taxi and take a trip down the river (The best way to take in the sights!).

  • We were very pleased with the flat. We were picked up at Heathrow and taken to the flat. The driver had the key and let us in. The flat was charming and perfect for our family. The kitchens and three bathrooms were very clean. There were nice touches...soap, toilet paper, paper towels. The linens were very clean and ample. It was truly a home away from home. The location was excellent...2 blocks to the Tube station, and very easy to get into central London and the sites. We would highly recommend your agency and use it in future visits to London.
