The food is equally stunning with the d?cor at this Amaya Restaurant. The most popular dishes in the house are flash-grilled rock oysters in a delicate coconut sauce, lamb chops and beautifully spiced lobster. Portions are small, leaving some complaining and service isn?t always up to scratch but this is nevertheless a ?fabulous? dining experience compared to other central london restaurants. The wines have been chosen solely on their ability to match the food & are laid out stylistically with helpful notes which makes this central london restaurant unique. Prices are reasonable, selections are never less than spot-on & 26 wines are available by the glass so Amaya is highly recommende by the best central London restaurants website.

It was one of the best meals I've had in recent times in a central london restaurant. The food tasted good and was cooked to perfection. The decor and the service were equally good. I think that Amaya Restaurant in London deseves full marks for its efforts, I'm sure it's a complete team effort of the people behind this place. r william, 14 November 2006 I stumbled into this place by chance. I have to say that the decor presented a powerful contemporary ambiance for a curry house, which is extremely pleasing for a central london restaurant. The service was excellent and the staff extremely helpful. The concept of serving your food to you when the chef has cooked it is a good idea as it leaves you guessing which dish is going to next arrive on your table. Excellent evening spent in the private dining room downstairs at this central London restaurant. The food was mouth watering - just the right amount - served at just the right time. Waiting staff were excellent and very discreet. Would thoroughly recommend Amaya for parties and special occasions. Food was reasonably priced too for a central London restaurant, but watch the drinks bill! Anonymous, 30 May 2006 Very good food, but slightly cavernous room and large tables for two which make it a non-intimate dining experience. This central London restaurant is good for lunch or dinner with friends but not with that special someone. Lexi, 09 April 2006 Excellent food. Attentive staff. Nice decor and pleasant ambiance. One of the best Indian central London restaurants in town, albeit not the cheapest. Vera, 24 October 2005 A beautiful central London restaurant with excellent food, some dishes were really great difficult to describe. The whole eating experience was great - lot of passion was seen in the cooking that distinguish this from other Indian central London restaurants. Service bit sloppy, could have been better. Over all great experience and food scores on all accounts. Anonymous, 10 October 2005
