Thick-carpeted floors & well-spaced tables add to the grown-up vibe, & the classical food fits well into its surrounds. West coast Scottish crab consists of shellfish dressed & served with asparagus spears, while four juicy, giant Oban scallops are served with a lightly minted pea pur?e. There are meaty options aplenty, too, including roast rib of Scottish beef with Yorkshire pud, grilled Elwy lamb cutlets with field mushrooms & pan-fried calf?s liver with crispy bacon & bubble & squeak.
