What can I say - Andreas Greek Restaurant was such a disappointment. I had been to this Restaurant many times years ago and it was superb - great food and great atmosphere. Sadly this has all changed. The service was miserable - not a smile to be seen from any of the staff. The food was also disappointing. The fried courgettes which I had been so looking forward to, as they are a big favourite of mine, and you don't often find them on the menu in Greek restaurants in Central London, were totally tasteless and extremely over-priced. On the good side it has to be said that the humous was very good and obviously home-made and the dolamdes were excellent and contained meat as well as rice. Sadly my fond memories of this Restaurant have been clouded by this recent visit. Sisi - 14 January 2005 My partner and I visited this Greek Restaurant in the middle of summer and the whole place was opened up like a Greek taverna (as much as is possible in central London)!We went for the works, three courses, bottle of wine and a liqueur to finish.The service was top-notch all the way through, despite the venue being quite busy.We have a lot of experience of Greek food and felt this central london restaurant was serving the real thing.
