Al Duca Restaurant was opened in 1999 and is a part of Pulze's 'Cuisine Collection' central London restaurant group. Al Duca remains one of the most popular Restaurants in the St James with a loyal clientele of diners. Serving modern Italian cuisine, Al Duca focuses heavily on bringing out the very best elements of what is one of the most acclaimed gastronomic regions of the world. The menu at Al Duca Restaurant emphasises the use of simple fresh ingredients combined to bring out the best of a wide range of traditional dishes offered both in classic style and with a new twist. Menu favourites at this amazing Italian Restaurant include Poached egg with crusty parmesan, bacon, potatoes and sautee mushrooms, Radicchio tortello with walnuts and gorgonzola sauce and Nougat parfait with morello cherry. The restaurants offers an extensive wine list.
I occassionally pop in to Al Duca when in the area for lunch for one. Always a warm reception from the staff, always a good Montepulciano house red. The well thought through menu has always offered a great seleciton and the quality is usually very good. If you're after a good unpretentious Italian food, good atmosphere and good service from a central London restaurant you can't go far wrong with this one.
