In Sekara restaurant the traditional is mixed with modern in magic and mysterious ways. The decor is amazing and the service fantastic. Chefs specialities include vegetable pancake rolls and mutton rolls looked similar, and were both spikily spiced and flavoursome. Next, meaty, robustly flavoured seerfish curry came with a tangle of expertly created string hoppers made from roasted Sri Lankan red rice.Another popular dish of this central London restaurant is vegetable kothu roti ? stir-fried with shredded leeks, red and green chillies, peppers, carrots, fennel seeds and curry leaves ? was more substantially flavoured and lighter in texture than the versions you?ll find in lesser Sri Lankan central London restaurants.

I have been to Sekara restaurant a few times now and I can say that it is easily my favourite Sri Lankan restaurant. The cusine is authentic and delicious, although a tad pricy. The atmosphere in this central London restaurant is warm and cosy. The staff are friendly and attentive. Oh and the Kiri Pani is to DIE FOR! its absoultely amazing, I found myself ordering another one.
