Shakespeare’s Globe theatre in London is a recreation of the original Globe theatre which was destroyed by fire in 1613. The theatre was reconstructed to original Elizabethan plans and, just as in the original there is no roof and the theatre is open to the stars. The shows here are very popular with coach parties and corporate hospitality so getting good seats can be difficult, however it is often possible to get standing tickets on the day.
