Area Description

There is no place in London like Primrose Hill! For tranquillity, vibrancy and beautiful people. Quiet, lush and green, with local grocers, restaurants, boutiques, pubs and florists the area is charming and just minutes from Central London and the busy, crowded sights of Oxford Circus and Leicester Square. A short walk from our holiday home is the Regents Canal. Further down the street is the Primrose Hill park with views of London. This child friendly park is excellent for outdoor plays, picnics, late summer night walks and it has a good size children's playground. This short term rental is perfect for London Zoo which is just a five minutes walk away, and of course the most beautiful of all parks in London, Regent's Park.

Decor
A laid back style with a delightful mix of antique and contemporary furniture in a pleasant, recently refurbished and decorated flat.
General
Two bedroom and one bathroom property on the first. Floor of a period Victorian house in the most tranquil areas of London.
Kitchen
This is a narrow, very functional, well organised and equipped kitchen with a gas cooker, electric oven, fridge / freezer and a microwave. The room has been recently redone and it is very crisp, white, bright and fully tiled.

Receptions
Reception Rooms: A good size reception / dining room. This is a good size, charming living area overlooking the quiet row of pretty Victorian villas on the other side of St Marks Road. It is facing west so it is very sunny and bright. The owner has made sure our guests are comfortable and would be stimulated to relax in this quiet setting with Contemporary Scandinavian furniture and numerous settees. There is a good size, English antique dining table for up to six guests . The flooring is dark wood and the walls are painted white with nice selection of decorative prints. The whole space is decorated with carefully selected, vibrantly coloured rugs and cushions, terracotta pots, books and there is a elegant glass chandelier. There is a television, DVD and just a ADSL Internet connection.
Bathrooms
One bathroom. This recently put in bathroom is almost all white tilled with the exception of red tiles on the floor. The Italian owner has put in some more accessories in bright, vibrant and exciting colours: a red and orange curtain, blue and red towels. There is a small tub with a wall attached shower over the tub, loo washer/dryer and a wash - hand basin.
Bedrooms
Two bedrooms. Both rooms are at the rear and thus exceptionally quiet. The master bedroom has a larger double bed, two built in cupboards, all painted in white. The room is decorated with pretty prints, soft cushions and covers. Bedroom two is also bright, with white painted walls and dark wood flooring. This is a smaller room with a good quality Ikea trundle bed that converts into a twin, some very practical storage underneath it and a good cupboard space.
