Belgravia is a Central London district in the City of Westminster, located South-West of Buckingham Palace. The area is characterised by grand terraces of white stucco houses. Belgravia has been one of London?s most fashionable districts, ever since it was developed. The area is very tranquil, considering it?s location in Central London. Neighbouring districts have far more busy shops, large modern office buildings, hotels and entertainment venues.

After World War II many of the largest houses in Belgravia were converted into Embassies, charity headquarters and professional institutes. Some of these are now being reconverted into houses. Large houses in Belgravia are among the most expensive and prestigious in the world.
