Area Description

This is popular street just off the Fulham Road and within very easy walking distance of Parsons Green underground. Ideally located for the good food shops, delicatessens and first class restaurants of the Fulham Road and the parks of Parsons Green are within easy walking distance. The trendy King's Road with attractive art exhibitions and antique arcades is a short distance away.


Property Description

General

Three bedroom period house with private garden situated on a quiet residential street. Very convenient for families. Strictly non-smoking. Internet available. Not suitable for children under 9 years old.

Decor

Beautiful mix of period and modern with luxurious fabrics and choice antique furnishings.

Receptions

A traditionally decorated double reception room with comfortable sofa, arm chairs, beautiful paintings and ornate rugs. Internet connection is also available.

Kitchen

The galley style kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances: Hob/Oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine and dryer. The super bright dining room has a dining table and seating for up to 6 guests, and this room leads out on to the lovely rear private garden.

Bedrooms

The pretty master bedroom has wood floors, stunning ornate rug, period furniture and a UK King size bed (150x200cm). The second bedroom is neutrally decorated and very nicely furnished with period wardrobe, chest of drawers and side tables and a UK double bed (135x190cm). The twin bedroom is on the top floor with 2 single beds (90x190cm) and rear view.

Bathrooms

The spacious bathroom is white tiled with wood floors, twin basins, good size shower cubicle and a loo. There is also a cloak room with wash basin and a loo.

Why stay in Fulham:

Fulham is a residential part of Kensington and Chelsea, with colourful cottages and big houses with lush gardens. It traces its history back to the 7th century.

A very popular and upmarket area of London, Fulham has plenty to offer in terms of bars, eateries and greenery. Brilliantly situated in West London, Fulham boarders with famous Chelsea and the beautiful settings of the River Thames. This lovely area of London is very family orientated and residential with plenty of parks and greens to enjoy: in the summer there are also open-air film screenings which we would most definitely recommend. The main attractions are along the Fulham Road leading to the Fulham Palace Gardens and the Thames. The area is dotted with antique shops, sumptuous flower and vegetable outlets, auction houses and furniture designer shops. There is an urban feel here with bustling cafes, shops and restaurants lining Fulham Road and New Kings Road. Fulham has a relaxed feel with numerous boutiques (Have a look at Indian Summer, Fulham Road).

We would suggest a worthwhile visit to the Fulham Palace where in summer you can picnic on the grounds or if the weather isn’t brilliant, eat scrumptious cake from the Fulham Palace café. You could even take in the wonderful views on one of the many river walks or if it takes your fancy, hop on a Thames Clipper river taxi and take a trip down the river (The best way to take in the sights!).

From the moment we crossed the threshold to the moment we sadly left, the home was a luxurious haven to return to every evening after an exhausting day of London sightseeing. The home had everything (and more) we needed, and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud - beautiful. The home is located on a quiet and pleasant street with the Underground Station only a very short walk away - which was extremely convenient . I cannot praise the owners enough for offering such a beautiful property for holiday-makers.
