Why stay in Marble Arch:

Marble Arch is a very centrally located area of London and is named after white Carrara marble monument situated near Speakers Corner in Hyde Park. The Arch was originally used as an entrance to Buckingham Palace but when the Palace was extended it was then moved to its current location because the Royal Coach could not fit through the arch.
It is now open to pedestrians and we’d suggest you go down and take a look.

The area itself is a great spot with Hyde Park and Oxford Street a stones throw away. There is a huge amount of things to see and do in the area such as museums, shopping, cafes, pubs, restaurants and it’s a great area for easy access to the sites.

Some of the museums in the area include:
The Wallace Collection, Hertford House, Manchester Square
Handel House Museum, Brook Street,
Madam Tussauds, Marylebone Road (HFH recommend!)
The Sherlock Holmes Museum, Baker Street.
Marble Arch is one of central London’s most sought after locations; you’d be crazy to miss checking it out!

Pubs/Bars: The Beehive, Bryanston Street, The Red Bar on Park Lane, Connaught Bar on Carlos Place, Punch Bowl, Farm Street.

Restaurants: Seaport Restaurant on Seymour Place, The Marmor Grill, Bryanston Street, Lanes of London on Park Lane.

Parks/Greens: Hyde Park, Green Park, Regents Park.

  • We had an amazing time in London. The flat is so beautiful and well located and we really felt at home. This is the second time a rented this appartment and on my my next trip to London I'm 100% sure I'll choose Home from Home again.

  • Stayed here for a week. Photos do not do it justice, far more space than I expected, very comfortable beds with proper white cotton sheets. excellent kitchen looking out onto little patio area. very well lit with good use of mirrors and nice big bathroom. Situated in Portman village with excellent restaurants, good pub (Grazing Goat) and some of the best shopping on Marylebone High Street and Chiltern Street. If you prefer high street shopping Oxford St is 4 mins walk. Highly recommended.. Home from Home were very helpful but overly encouraging about getting a taxi to and from airport which unless you really want one is unnecessary as keys can be collected from their offices out of hours.'
