Area Description

St Georges Road is ideally located for easy access to the City and West End and enjoys an abundance of local facilities and amenities including St Jude's Primary School, Notre Dame Girls School and St Georges Cathedral. London Southbank is a short walk away and the property overlooks the gardens and tennis courts of the Imperial War Museum. Major London landmarks are a short walk away form the property.The tube and transport links are excellent and can get you to anywhere in London by bus or tube from right outside the property. There are great local restaurants and shopping nearby and a 24/7 convenience store that has everything you need just 1 min walk away! The park with tennis courts and children's playground is right across the road.


Property Description

General

Bright, light and free flowing this accommodation comprises four double bedrooms, two bathrooms and two good size reception rooms. Parking is available for one car and conveniently situated off road to the front of the house. The house further features super fast, secure network connections and installations include in-ceiling B&W speakers and a Linn music system throughout, operated via any mobile device. The beautiful home sleeps four, with room for extra guests – please enquire within. Strictly non smoking, WIFi available.

Decor

The property is an eclectic and stunning mix of the traditional, featuring original fire places, ceiling cornicing, sash windows and oak flooring. This property has been featured in various magazines, photographic shoots and music videos.

Receptions

As you enter the property you are greeted by a grand Entrance Hall with a beautiful chandelier and a large Antique mirror. The home boasts two good size reception rooms: on the first floor you'll find a formal living room with a huge White Italian leather corner sofa, 55 inch Samsung TV with airplay, 2 leather 'rocking' chairs and chaise lounge. It is completed with designer furnishings and wall art. The second living room is found on the fourth floor and is a more informal sitting room with a separate study area. On the first floor there is also a luxurious dining room with an Indian Sheesham wood dining table which comfortably seats 8 guests and a matching drinks cabinet. It also features a separate seating area with designer Italian Portenza chairs.

Kitchen

The kitchen which has been refurbished to the highest of standards opens out onto a lovely courtyard and has underfloor heating. All the appliances are Siemens and include induction hob, oven, dishwasher and Le Creuset cookware. A Nespresso coffee machine, electric kettle, 4 slice toaster and microwave are also included.

Bedrooms

Four double bedrooms with two UK King size beds (150x200cm) and two Double beds (135x190cm). The bedrooms have wood floors throughout and are beautifully decorated with the finest furnishings, drapes and contemporary pieces with lovely views overlooking the Imperial War Museum Gardens and Tennis Courts or looking out to the City Skyline. The master bedroom has stunning exposed brickwork as its feature and has a separate living area.

Bathrooms

Two luxury and exceptionally spacious bathrooms, one featuring a Jacuzzi bath tub and a rainforest walk-in shower, and the other, a designer bathtub with a large walk-in twin shower area.

Why stay in Southbank:

South Bank is an entertainment, commercial and urban parkland district of Central London right by the River Thames and opposite the far east of Westminster which stretches over 5 square kilometers (two square miles). It is estimated that 14 million people visit the area each year and it’s not difficult to see why! The areas modern-day life began in 1951 with the Festival of Britain which was created to boost morale during the time of World War II. Nowadays the area is bustling with Markets, shops and restaurants with something for everyone.

Its easy to find your way to and from here as several major railway stations are within walking distance of South Bank including Waterloo, Charing Cross and Blackfriars. There are also many underground stations in the area such as Westminster, Waterloo Station, Embankment, Blackfriars and Southwark.

It is a significant district for arts and entertainment. The London Eye as well as Big Ben are all in the area. It has the Southbank Centre, Sea Life London Aquarium, The London Dungeon, London Film Museum, Jubilee Gardens and the London Eye among its long list of attractions, all worth checking out!

We would suggest you take stroll down to South Bank, come rain or shine and give yourselves plenty of time as there really is so much to see and do here!

She listened to my criteria and found the right home from home for our family. It was much appreciated that your office has an 800 number to call with my questions. Thank you to Magda who arranged Cyril who drove us to the airport, we enjoyed our conversations during the drive. We had a lovely and beautiful stay and it was just what we were looking for. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a table to accommodate a family of 5 and a kitchen large enough to cook Christmas Eve and Christmas day dinner. The beds were comfortable. It was an easy walk to the Westminister Bridge, Tube stations and Market. Thank you HFH, we will be back soon!

  • One curtain in the small bedroom had a tab pulled loose but I believe this issue were addressed by your staff. The location worked very well for our events.

  • The beds and duvets were wonderful and the apartment was very spacious as promised. Taxis Drivers, Cyril and Dave, were terrific. Location was good - a little far from Waterloo Station for my mom, but we enjoyed the neighborhood very much and Lambeth tube was close by. Thank you for your help; we would definitely do this again.
