Shepherds Bush is a bustling area of London with both overground and underground stations, old-school street markets and modern shopping centres. The area is full of life during the day as well as at night! The biggest selling point for the area is not only its abundance of bars and restaurants but its great music venues such as Shepherd’s Bush Empire and Bush Hall.
The neighbourhood also boast Europe’s largest urban shopping centre, Westfield. There is a shop for everyone here! Shops range from high end, up market stores to boutique and trendy stores.
The district is also bordered by Hammersmith, Holland Park and Notting Hill. You are only 2 tube stops away from the Portobello Road Markets and less than 10 minutes bus ride to the famous Notting Hill! Shepherds Bush is incredibly central, providing access to all the central areas of London. Residents have easy access to the Hammersmith and City Line (which takes you to Kings Cross St Pancreas and Liverpool Street), the Circle Line (which takes you to Paddington, Baker Street and Euston) and also the Central Line (which takes you to Bayswater, Marble Arch and Oxford Circus). The neighbourhood is also incredible close to the Hammersmith Bridge. We recommend taking an afternoon stroll along the Thames in the Summer! Fulham is also very close, about only 15 minutes by bus (bus routes: 220, 295).
