This is Chelsea with colourful quaint cottages, red brick Victorian mansions and attractive gardens and squares. The Embankment Gardens part of Chelsea is very close to the River Thames and to the grounds on which the famous Chelsea Flower Show takes place every year in May. There are some beautiful views of Battersea Park and Albert Bridge to be admired from the Embankment Gardens. Kings Road and Sloane Square are just a short walk away with an amazing selection of designer and antique shops, restaurants, cafes and exhibition halls. The new Saatchi Collection, the prestigious London modern art gallery is in the same area.

A splendid one bedroom ground floor apartment in a Victorian mansion block. The bedroom at the rear overlooks a tranquil and lush communal garden. This is a non smoking residence with broadband internet connection.

The small kitchen is well organised with good fitted cupboards all around. There is a small wall attached, folding, breakfast table, gas hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and a microwave. A small dining table for two people is available in the hall, adjacent to the kitchen.
Receptions
This is a charming, elegant and very comfortable south facing reception/ drawing room. The antique chairs and stools are covered in light natural cotton fabrics and match two good size, light contemporary sofas. The whole room is delightfully decorated with a selection of paintings, prints and drawings, statues and antique lamps. There is an elegant writing desk, two armchairs and a coffee table.
Bathrooms
One. This is a good size, very pleasant bathroom tiled with beige tiles and fitted with contemporary white ceramic accessories. There is a wash hand basin, loo and a full size bath tub with a wall attached shower.

One. The very quiet bedroom has a large double bed, bed side tables with lamps, good storage space, an antique chest of drawers and a TV with a DVD player.
