Elsham Road is an elegant tree lined residential street which boasts attractive terraces of large Victorian townhouses, as well as numerous high-end shops, specialist stores and restaurants. To the West of the street is Holland Park, one of London’s largest and most romantic parks, featuring Kyoto Garden: a Japanese Garden, Opera House and numerous peacocks. Meanwhile, the popular shops, bistros and restaurants along Holland Park Avenue, Notting Hill and Westfield shopping centre are all within walking distance from the apartment. It is the location of the upmarket butcher Lidgate and the independent bookseller Daunt books. This is a perfect location for anyone attending public or private events, business shows, fairs and art exhibitions at Olympia which is less than a 3 minute walk away (0.2miles).

This bright and breezy room is at the front of the property so is exceptionally quiet and looks out on to the gorgeous front garden with an array of beautiful flowers and plants. The bay window lets in lots of natural light. There is also a dining table in the window which seats up to 4 guests comfortably. There are two comfortable sofas, one of which is a double sofa bed, and a lovely ornamental fireplace.


The well-equipped kitchen has all the modern appliances including a fridge/freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, gas hob, and electric fan oven.


The bedroom is located at the rear of the building and with triple glazing; the room is super quiet with lots of natural light. The room has a queen size bed and plenty of cupboard space.


The bathroom is located next to the bedroom and has both a bath tub and hand-held shower, electric extractor fan, heated towel rails and storage space.

Nearest tube:

Shepherd's Bush (central line) station is a 5 min walk from the apartment, Kensington Olympia (district and over ground) is less than a 5 min walk. Holland Park and High street Kensington are a 5 min bus ride away.

  • The location was perfect. Close to public transit and not far from Heathrow. It was very easy to get anywhere you needed to and the owner has so much info about London available that you can't go wrong staying there. Would highly recommend it be considered if you are headed to London.

  • We spent 8 days in this apartment, very well equipped for two people: living room with armchairs and table, large bedroom with large closets and good mattress, bathroom with shower and bath, and kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and all utensils. It is located in a quiet residential area, and has a small supermarket on the corner and several restaurants. An 8-minute walk or bus ride takes you to a train and subway station which connects to all the lines for easy access to different parts of London. Right there is a very large supermarket where we bought food to prepare at home, and a huge mall. We thus combined a quiet and residential block with good access to all the walks we undertook. The hosts were noted for the information they provided about the department, the area, the means of transportation, the nearby restaurants, as well as their quick response to our queries. I would go back without hesitation!
