Select a property and we will confirm its availability. We then require a completed Booking Form which must be submitted via the booking form page on our site.
Upon receipt of the Booking Form, we will process and confirm the reservation.
Only the named people on the booking form may occupy the property. Any change or the addition of extra people will automatically and without notice bring the contract to an end.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION
We require full payment eight weeks prior to arrival. Should you need to cancel the booking, a refund is subject to us being able to re-let the property. We do advise, therefore, that you take travel insurance to cover this eventuality.
For bookings made outside the eight weeks period, we require a 50% Booking Deposit to hold the property (This amount forms part of your rent) and is non-refundable
Home from Home process all transactions in Pounds Sterling.
If you elect to pay in GBP, your bank will be responsible for any currency conversion. If you elect to pay in your own currency, the currency conversion will be completed by a UK bank using the exchange rate ruling at the time of the transaction.
All refunds are processed in Pounds Sterling. If your account is not a Pound Sterling account, your bank will convert the amount into your own currency using their exchange rate ruling at the time of the transaction.
Home from Home will not be held responsible for any exchange losses resulting from actions taken by third parties.
1) The Booking Deposit is 50% of the rent and is only payable by transfer. 2) The balance of rent can be paid by Bank Transfer.
Should you need to make amendments to your booking, please contact us immediately. All changes are subject to confirmation from Home from Home Vacations and may be subject to an additional administration fee. Any date changes requested must have the availability confirmed by Home from Home Vacations. Payment for any change must be made within 24 hours of the confirmation of availability in order to have their booking amended.
SERVICE FEE AND CLEANING
The tenants are responsible for their own housekeeping whilst in occupation as properties are not serviced. The service fee for each property is based on a stay of up to 7 nights. For longer stays it may be higher. This is a separate charge due eight weeks prior to the arrival and covers the cost of laundering one set of linen and towels per bedroom and a general clean at the end of the tenancy.
Should you require maid service, we can arrange this. For the prices please enquire.
If you are staying in one of our properties for longer than one week and require extra linen, please telephone our office and let us know. There is a delivery charge for this service of £30.00.
TELEPHONE AND INTERNET
Where internet is available it is usually free except where stated. Usage is not unlimited and is provided for general browsing purposes. Excessive use of this service by way of downloading movies, music etc.. is not permitted. We reserve the right to recover the cost. Home from Home Vacations cannot guarantee internet connection even though it is listed as being available.
ARRIVAL IN LONDON
Should you arrive in London by aeroplane or train, we strongly advise that you book with us a black London taxi. They will have the keys to the property, meet you at the airport and take you straight to the property in comfort. We can arrange for you to be met during office hours by one of our representatives, should you prefer. You will need to contact our office to arrange and confirm this service (there will be a charge for this if you need to be met outside of office hours - 9.30 am - 5pm Monday to Friday). We cannot guarantee an early let-in unless you book the apartment from the night before, but we will do our utmost to fit in with your arrangements where possible.
You must leave the property on your departure date by 10.30am. We ask you to contact us regarding your departure time at least three working days before you leave. Should you require a taxi to collect you, we can arrange this for you. Should you require a late departure, please advise us prior to your arrival and we will see what arrangements can be made. Late departures are subject to an additional half/day charge.
CHARGERS FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
As part of your agreement under Home from Home's Terms & Conditions, we require that you only purchase good quality, branded electronic chargers for your electrical devices. Examples of a branded electronic devices are; Apple, Nokia. Black-Berry, Sony etc.
Please do not bring to the United Kingdom or purchase within the United Kingdom cheap imitation electronic chargers to charge your Mobile Phone, Laptop or any other Electronic Device.
N.B: PLEASE DONT LEAVE YOUR ELECTRONIC DEVICES ON CHARGE WHEN YOU LEAVE A PROPERTY OR YOU MAY BE HELD LIABLE IN THE EVENT OF DAMAGE.
The company reserves the right in the case of force majeure resulting in the property being rendered unsuitable for occupation, to substitute a property of similar standard and sleeping capacity. Neither Home from Home Vacations nor the owner of the property is liable for any accident, loss or damage sustained during the let.
Home from Home Vacations, under reasonable circumstances, reserves the right to gain access to any property at any time during a rental.
