Area Description

Perrymead Street is a lovely residential tree-lined street just off New King’s Road near Parsons Green and is ideal for easy access to numerous shops, bars and restaurants. The green open space of Parsons Green and the underground station are within easy walking distance. Bus routes lead to and from the West End and Parsons Green. The White Horse Gastro Pub is one of London's best pubs. Located on the corner of Parson's Green a stone's throw from the tube, this award winning establishment is widely considered as the best beer pub in Britain!! Parsons green is beautiful, and perfect for a picnic or if you just fancy a walk in the park!


Property Description

General

A beautifully presented family house situated in a convenient and quiet Residential road off New Kings Road. Entered via a spacious hallway and go onto the open plan kitchen and dining area. The lovely garden area can be accessed from both the kitchen and the dining area and has outside furniture so you’re able to dine al fresco or enjoy a drink in the fresh air. The downstairs living room has a large TV and comfortable seating. On the other floors are the 4 bedrooms and bathrooms with the addition of an upstairs sitting room which is perfect for some peace and quiet or reading a great book.

Decor

High end with luxurious furnishings & fabrics yet has a very homely feel.

Receptions

The downstairs living room has a large comfortable sofa with a wall mounted TV. There is also a writing desk in the window should you need it. The luxurious upstairs sitting room has an abundance of comfortable sofas and armchairs which are perfect for relaxing in and making the most of the peace and quiet this room brings.

Kitchen

The kitchen / dining room is semi open plan and offers a good range of fitted storage cupboards and integrated appliances, including a deluxe range oven. The kitchen has all top of the range appliances. The dining are has a large dining table with enough seating for 6 guests and has a lovely

Bedrooms

The first bedroom is situated at the back of the house and is on the first floor. There is a single bed, a writing desk and chest of drawers, and the window overlooks the garden. There’s a bathroom with shower and bathtub next door. The second bedroom also has a single bed and is at the back of the property. This is on the second floor and has a writing desk and plenty of storage space in the floor to ceiling wardrobes. On the same floor is the master bedrooms with an Emperor Bed (2.5m x 2m) and floor to ceiling wardrobes with ample room to unpack your belongings. There are two bedside tables, each with a lamp. The fourth bedroom is a small double bedroom on the third floor with an en-suite bathroom.

Bathrooms

This house has a bathroom on each floor: there is a washroom on the ground floor with a loo and hand basin. On the first floor the bathroom has a bath tub and wall mounted shower, loo, hand basin and heated towel rack. The bathroom on the second floor is a large bathroom with a separate bath tub and walk in shower, twin wash basins, large mirror, loo and heated towel rail. The en-suite bathroom on the third floor has a bath tub and walk mounted shower, loo and a wash basin.

Why stay in Fulham:

Fulham is a residential part of Kensington and Chelsea, with colourful cottages and big houses with lush gardens. It traces its history back to the 7th century.

A very popular and upmarket area of London, Fulham has plenty to offer in terms of bars, eateries and greenery. Brilliantly situated in West London, Fulham boarders with famous Chelsea and the beautiful settings of the River Thames. This lovely area of London is very family orientated and residential with plenty of parks and greens to enjoy: in the summer there are also open-air film screenings which we would most definitely recommend. The main attractions are along the Fulham Road leading to the Fulham Palace Gardens and the Thames. The area is dotted with antique shops, sumptuous flower and vegetable outlets, auction houses and furniture designer shops. There is an urban feel here with bustling cafes, shops and restaurants lining Fulham Road and New Kings Road. Fulham has a relaxed feel with numerous boutiques (Have a look at Indian Summer, Fulham Road).

We would suggest a worthwhile visit to the Fulham Palace where in summer you can picnic on the grounds or if the weather isn’t brilliant, eat scrumptious cake from the Fulham Palace café. You could even take in the wonderful views on one of the many river walks or if it takes your fancy, hop on a Thames Clipper river taxi and take a trip down the river (The best way to take in the sights!).

  • The home was lovely. The only suggestion I would have is to update the pictures. There were 5 of us, and we had a difficult time from the pictures on the website determining if a couple of the beds were single or double. When we arrived at the house, we were pleasantly surprised at how much BETTER the house was than the pictures depicted. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home/neighborhood. Another thing is that it would be extremely helpful to have some information left in the house regarding exactly where to catch a bus to go into town and other popular tourist spots, as well as a detailed walking map of how to get to the nearest tube station for visitors who are coming in from the United States. Will definitely use this company again if possible!
