A stylish short-term rental apartment in a favoured residential area between Victoria and the Thames Embankment.
This area between Victoria and the river is a mix of grand Victorian terraces, historic buildings, government offices and modern apartment blocks. From the flat an interesting riverside walk could take you to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament or the Tate Britain art gallery. For a change of scene one could take a cruise along the Thames, downstream to Greenwich or upstream to Hampton Court. The area has easy access by bus and tube to all other parts of town, and there are plenty of shopping and dining options in the neighbourhood, with numerous restaurants, cafés, shops large and small and some outdoor markets.
This is a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment on the lower ground floor of a converted period building with its own entrance. Non-smoking, wi-fi Internet.
Traditional English decor in elegantly muted colours. The flat has been totally renovated by an interior designer and is in the best of taste.
The open plan sitting room has a dining area near the kitchen, with a stylish glass-topped table that seats six people. There is a comfortable sofa, 2 single futons for additional guests and antique chairs grouped around the inlaid marble fireplace, flanked by a pair of ornate mirrors. Other amenities include a TV, DVD and fax machine.
The kitchen is fitted with new units and all new appliances including gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Solid wood worktops complete the ensemble, highlighted by mirrored mosaic tiling. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided in the large cupboard in the entrance hall.
The pretty master bedroom has a king size bed (can be made up as twins) and an entire wall of fitted cupboards. It overlooks a small patio. The second bedroom has twin beds. There are also 2 single sofa beds/futons in the living room.
The en-suite master bathroom, in pale tones with a slate floor, has a wash basin, a tub with a good power shower over it and a loo. The second bathroom has the same facilities.

The flat was clean and Home from Home was responsive and professional.- Mr and Mrs Cooper
We arrived at LHR earlier than expected and the taxi service was very responsive and helpful. They arrived to pick us up within about 20-30 minutes after we called them and arranged to pick up the keys on our way to the apartment. We were very grateful for the great service.- Leslie USA

Our transportation was so effeciently coordianted from Heathrow - at 6:55am! The flat was exactly as it appeared in the pictures - just lovely and I cannot think of anything else that we could have possibly needed. The 2 bathrooms were a luxury! It was a perfect place and solution for my family for our recent vacation! Thank you for everything!- Peggy United States
We loved the apartment; we loved the decor, and the location. As frequent visitors to London we usually stay in Kensington/ Bayswater but we will definitely be back to Pimlico.- Roxanne Australia

Amazing customer service, very accommodating!- Stephen USA
Thank you Home From Home for being so accommodating and making our stay in London so smooth. We stayed at the Claverton Street property, five minutes from the Pimlico tube stop. It was very easy to get around. We were allowed to check in early and check out late, which was very helpful when one is burdened by lots of luggage. The place was very clean and well stocked. The staff at HFH was very responsive to questions. Overall, it was an excellent accommodation and we would stay here again and recommend Home from Home to others.- Angela USA

Another lovely flat, another lovely week away! Many thanks- Tim Canada
The flat was great, thanks so much!- Nancy USA
The only part of the property that was not clean was the lounge area which had glitter all over and did manage to damage our clothing as a result. Your team did rectify the situation as soon as they were alerted. Apart from that, the apartment was spotless. We did report an issue with the boiler which the team also sent someone over promptly. These are small snags - overall we were very happy with your service and hope that we were good tenants too!- Carole
I was thrilled with Home from Home's service. It was very responsive, well organized and always cheerful. I would highly recommend Home from Home, and I would most definitely use the service again. I have only one suggestion. The basement apartment in Pimlico was not air conditioned. The windows opened only a few inches. Outfitting the apartment with some fans would have made our stay much more comfortable, particularly given the summer heat. Thank you for your excellent service.- Kevan, Canada
