What is our minimum stay for tenants?

We have a minimum of a week for our short term rentals however we’re a little more flexible with this during low season. We occasionally offer 3-5 night bookings.

Who are our tenants?

Our tenants travel from all over the world; however they are mostly from USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. They consist of families coming to London for their annual holiday or professionals over for business. Over 70% of our guests are repeats and majority are over 40 years of age. They typically prefer the sense of living like a local and favour London vacation rentals that are homely and comfortable. One thing is for sure; our tenants will always looks after your delightful home!

What does HFH do?

• We find suitable tenants to stay in your lovely London apartment.
• We take care of guests and troubleshoot any issues whilst the guests are in your vacation rental property.
• We arrange all the marketing side of things: professional photographs and floor plans, advertising etc.
• We take a security deposit in case of any accidents – Safe as houses!
• We offer a complete service taking care of let-ins and lets-out and providing high quality bed linen and towels so there’s no need to use your own personal linen.
• Home from Home arrange a check before and a clean after each booking.

What do you need to do as an owner?

All we need from you is your availability. You retain complete control over your property and can use it whenever you want: We rent your home on your terms!

What are the benefits?

Who’s in our team?

We are a small intimate team of just under 20 and we are highly customer focused. As we are a small team we are very familiar with all our London apartments to rent and we work closely with our owners to ensure everything runs smoothly!

Do we provide linen and towels?

Yes! We can provide clean linen and towels for each vacation rental free of charge. We recommend owners lock away their own linen and towels to avoid any confusion.

What happens if something is damaged?

We take a security deposit from all guests which covers any damage costs.

What if there is a problem in my apartment, such as a boiler breaking down?

Our team is always on call and ready to tackle any issues which may arise throughout a short term rental. We will do our best to troubleshoot any problems and will only contact you if we need to send anyone to the property (i.e. plumbers).

Who handles the keys?

Our guests are greeted at your home by HFH representatives or alternatively they can be dropped off and shown around by our taxi service. Our taxi drivers, Cyril and Dave, have been with the company for over 20 years and are loved by all our guests. They are very familiar with all of our short term rental properties and take great pride showing visitors around each apartment.

Are tenants allowed to smoke?

No, we have a strict no smoking policy in all of our London vacation rental properties.
