This well-presented 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom third floor apartment (lift) is set within a well respected Mansion Block in Putney, with some of the best and nearby sporting events such as; Wimbledon tennis, The Oval cricket ground, Fulham & Chelsea football club and Twickenham Rugby club. The apartment is ideally placed for the start of the famous Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race.
Putney is a popular leafy area of South West London, set on the River Thames with excellent transport links into the West End of London. There are wonderful riverside walks and the embankment is usually buzzing with rowers, runners and walkers enjoying the Putney vibe almost like ‘the countryside’ in London. There are lots of places to eat on the riverside and a bustling high street for all your shopping needs, including many supermarkets for stocking up on food and essential items.
Putney is linked to Fulham, another affluent neighbourhood, on the northern side of the Thames, by Putney Bridge, which is the only bridge in the country to have churches on both sides. And little more than 100 metres upstream from this bridge are the University Boat Race Stones, which mark the starting and finishing points of the famous Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race, a tradition that dates back to 1829. A stroll over the bridge Bishop’s Park and Fulham Palace is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit with a fantastic cafe serving delicious cakes, fresh soup, salads and sandwiches. Fulham Palace is free to enter and is truly a hidden gem of peace and quiet set in beautiful grounds. We love to follow the seasons in the walled garden followed by a cup of tea at the Drawing Room café.
Favourite haunts on the Lower Richmond Road are Hudsons Restaurant and The Grind coffee shop. Hudsons is a very popular community restaurant, great value and the food is always good. They have a happy hour every evening and offer bar snacks and a well- balanced menu.
The Grind is an antipodean run coffee bar that serves delicious home-made cakes, smoothies and the owners children swear by the Brunch. Often packed with lycra clad rowers, as are the other Deli – style cafes in the areas.
On a Saturday there is a fabulous Farmer’s Market in the Duke of York Square on The Kings Road in Chelsea (No 22 bus). There is the most amazing selection of delicious food and drink to eat there and to take home. Perfect for a family lunch
The river is always buzzing with action. In Putney, there is always somewhere to go, something to do and so convenient for the West End theatre land, the museums and much, much more.

Great views over the river and safe area. We enjoyed our stay very much!- Julia, Australia
Few items were missing, but we called the office and they were able to arrange everything for us. Overall excellent stay, staff members were very helpful and attentive even when we called them late in the evening.- Larry, Australia
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to the apartment. We wanted to rent something in Chelsea, but all of the homes were booked for our dates. Putney turned out to be an excellent area with great selection of shops and restaurants and we walked along the river on most of the days. Travel to the attractions was not too long either. We will book this apartment again for sure!- Pauline and Eric, USA
The decor of this place is wonderful and everything functioned well. Kitchen was well stocked and cleaned properly before our arrival. We also liked the linen and towels provided, as they were very soft and good quality material.- Warren, USA
Dave was great picking us up from the airport, everything went smootly even though our flight was majorly delayed. Lift was also a plus with our heavy suitcases. We loved the apartment, truly felt like home. Our greatest thanks for the sales team for the suggestion.- Mr and Mrs Brooks, USA
