About Earl's Court
Kensington’s more down-to-earth neighbour, Earl’s Court is a well-rounded base to explore West London – and beyond. Relaxed restaurants, traditional pubs and leafy side streets characterise the neighbourhood. Make sure you visit The Troubadour, an iconic music venue that hosted Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell in its prime. You’re more likely to walk in on a lowkey jazz session these days, performed under a decades-old collection of instruments that hangs from the ceiling. While Earl’s Court is said to have the most confusing tube station in the capital, don’t let this deter you from making use of its nifty connections to the rest of London. Hyde Park, Covent Garden and Westminster are all reachable in less than twenty minutes, while the District Line will take you directly to the East End. If you’d rather skip the tube and boost your step count, the affluent area of Chelsea, with its upmarket shopping haunts, is a short stroll away. Harrods’ sprawling food hall is excellent for picking up some tasty souvenirs.
The amenities of High Street Kensington and the calm surroundings of Holland Park are also nearby. Earls Court Road and Old Brompton Road areas are just moments away and provide late night and 24 hour dining and shopping. The apartment is two blocks walk away from the famous "Troubadour cafe". The wonderful local gastro pubs, "The Pembroke", "The Atlas" and the renowned Fringe Theatre at "the Finborough", lend the local area an air of Bohemian chic. The museums of Exhibition Road and the charm of the French quarter in Bute Street are two underground stops away. The luxury shopping at the Knightsbridge & Sloane Square stores of Harvey Nicholls, Harrods and Peter Jones are a stop further on.
Beautifully presented lower ground floor with high (3m) ceilings, wood floors throughout and a fantastic private rear garden. Two generous bedrooms with bathrooms en suite and a separate guest loo. Separate laundry room. This gorgeous property is spread over one level with no internal stairs. The owners cleaner will visit the property every Tuesday afternoon. Everything about the flat was perfect. It was very well appointed and the furnishings, art work and many small touches made it really feel like "our home from home". It was our first trip to London. The staff at Home from Home were very professional and helpful at every turn. It was a wonderful experience and one we want to repeat in the near future. I will be happy to recommend Home From Home to others.

We had unusually warm weather and I was not aware there wasn't A/C on the property. After a quick call to the office, I was told where to find the fans. Other than that slight inconvenience we were very happy with the flat and it met or exceeded our expectations. The location was excellent; a safe neighborhood and close proximity to the Earl's Court tube station. We would definitely rent again from your organization.

We loved Penywern property and would appreciate you passing this on to the owner. It truly made our reunion with our son and friends more special- a true home away from home!

It was a beautiful apartment and we much enjoyed our stay. The owner has exquisite taste in furniture and art work. Everything was well appointed with what looked like recently a renovated kitchen and similarly renovated bathrooms. The central heating was excellent. Even with -2C outside we were snug and warm. The proximity to Earls Court tube station was great. After our second experience of staying in a Home from Home property we know for sure that your standards are very high and much look forward to using your company again at some time in the future.

10/10 Excellent vacation in London!!!! We had such a nice stay here! Sandy and George were very easy to work with and answered all of our questions. We were thrilled to find such a nice sized flat that provided plenty of room for 4 adults and we were literally just around the corner from Earl's Court underground station for easy transport throughout London and to Heathrow. We even had a Marks & Spencer grocery store on the nearby corner and they carried gluten free foods that I needed and lots of fresh produce. We got to see so many things in London every day and came back to relax in the flat, which has a wonderful back patio, full kitchen and washer/dryer (a must for our fall travel). The king sized beds were very comfortable and the living/dining room were very nice, with plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to London!

10/10 Immaculate is correct description - To start, I have to say that the help and service provided by property managers in order to rent the Flat vas very helpful and always quick to answer my questions. As described, it’s a lovely, elegant, well located apartment with all the furnishings needed to feel at home. At some point with London winter weather it even felt grate to stay in as we found it cosy and warm. Moments walking from Earls Court tube Station and in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea. Supermarkets, pubs, and all kinds of restaurants to enjoy nearby. In conclusion 5 stars well deserved, will be renting it again as long as my youngest son lives in London.
