A fantastic one bedroom property located in the hub of the city, Borough, very close to London Bridge and the famous Borough market. The tube is just 3 minutes walking allowing very end easy access to all tourist attractions.

Area Description

Superbly located in one of the most sought after areas on London; The famous Shard building is only 10 minutes away. Borough has also recently been made into one of London's heritage sites. There are easy travel links to all the interesting parts of the city, such as; London Bridge, The Charles Dickens Inn, Royal Festival Hall and Shakespeare’s Globe and the famous Borough Market are all very close. The George Inn, just off Borough High Street, is London’s only surviving galleried coaching inn – a place to soak up the essence of British Culture. It is also just a short 10 minute walk from the banks of the River Thames which offers stunning walks and amazing views of the city – we highly recommend this!

The entrance to the property is on a very quiet street, off the main road which means that the property itself is extremely quiet. Very well situated for grocery shopping, restaurants and city pubs as well as sight seeing in the heart of London.

The reception is an open plan, comfortable space with large windows, two comfy sofas and two chairs. Flat screen TV and coffee table. There is also a lovely dining table which comfortably seats 4 guests.

The small open plan, the kitchen is a lovely space and well equipped with modern appliances, which include a dishwasher, washing machine, drying rack, microwave, hob and oven.

Bedrooms

The light bedroom has a King size bed (152x198cm) and ample storage in the floor to ceiling fitted wardrobe. There are two bedside tables both with reading lamps and a modern wall mounted heating system.

Bathrooms

The bathroom is bright and has plenty of storage space. It has a bath tub as well as a wall mounted shower with a protective shower screen. There is also a loo, wash basin, large mirror and some lovely glass shelving.

Borough Tube Station, 3 minute walk (Northern Line). There are also excellent bus services to all parts of the city.

Thank you so much for the pleasure of staying in your wonderful home. It really was "home away from home". Such a central location to everything! We have had one of the best trips ever! Watching the Seahawks at Wembley, going to all of the local pubs, Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, the National Gallery, Churchill War Rooms, Westminster Abbey, Borough Market + Leadenhall Market etc! The proximity to the tube + surrounding sttions allowed us to go to Brighton + Lewes, and take an Evan Evans tour to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge + beautiful town of Bath! What a wonderful adventure we've had! All starting from your home! Cannot thank you enough. Having a small but efficient kitchen allowed us to make breakfast every morning and pack snacks for the busy sightseeing days! Just wonderful!
