A one bedroom vacation rental in Chelsea, on the lower ground floor with a small patio and one bedroom and one shower room. Non-smoking, Wifi Internet but no landline phone.

The bright and uncluttered sitting room opens onto to the back garden and the patio, the perfect spot for an early tea as the day starts or an evening drink. There is a large comfortable sofa (measures 2.14m x 1.56m, when fully extended to double bed size) and a dining table with two chairs, plus good storage space, a digital TV and a DVD player.

Kitchen

The good sized kitchen overlooks the garden too. It is light and well organized, with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine, as well as a folding breakfast table and chairs for four.

Bedrooms

The bedroom, in restful pale colours, has a king size bed made up of two singles pushed together. There is good wardrobe space, a chest of drawers, table lamps and a writing desk.

Bathrooms

The very practical bathroom has been designed as a wet-room with a power shower, plus wash basin, heated towel rail and loo.

We had everything we needed at the flat and the "welcome" booklet was extremely helpful, as was the information box with brochures and pamphlets highlighting the many things we could do during our stay. The location was ideal and SO close to so many amenities, particularly the Tube. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and/or use Home from Home to find another location in the future.   • I enjoyed my time in my 'home away from home' on Fulham Rd. The flat is well equipped and comfortable for up to 4 people. It is located 2 blocks from a public tube station and grocers, drug stores and places to eat are all within walking distance. The flat itself was comfortable and good sized with a lovely garden. My one complaint was with the cab ride from the hotel to the flat that was arranged by the rental company. It was very pricey at 53 pounds and the driver then demanded a tip on top of that. On my way out I took the tube which has a direct stop at Heathrow for 1.50. But the flat itself and the location are wonderful.

  • The only issue we had was that there was quite a bit of noise from the flat above ours. We realize HFH cannot control this. The bathroom was a wet room and a clear shower curtain would have been nice rather than a fully open space.The towel warmer was quite hot and given the small space it was easy to burn oneself. Overall we had a great stay!
