1 Bedroom Flat with River View in Chelsea

We were very pleased with our flat in Chelsea. While it was a little costly, it was certainly worth the expense to have a home-base in the city and to be able to cook our own meals. The setting of this flat is excellent in that it is quite quiet with little to no street noise, and the location is excellent near the Thames and the Albert Bridge.

The kitchen is nicely fitted and the flat is lovely.

I really enjoyed my stay in this property. It had a very homey feel to it. The kings road was lovely to take a walk up. Lots of shops and great places to eat. We found a lovely cake shop down there!

We loved our flat and our stay! Would do it again in a heartbeat - in fact, my friend tried to book the flat again in June but unfortunately it was already booked.

Wow, Home from Home's team does it again. The airport pickup was fast, easy, efficient. The fact that our driver had the flat keys made our arrival very comfortable and easy to manage. We very much enjoyed our stay in the Chelsea apartment. Of course we picked an exciting time, spring, the gardens in Chelsea, a new princess and the election. The flat was very well placed for many bus routes which we used extensively. The Flat itself was a home away from home and apart from the modern kitchen, and superb location, it reminded us of the time we lived in London. We will certainly use your services when we come again and recommend you to our friends.

Might want to check out the lower oven. We couldn't get it to work, but since we were only staying for a couple of weeks, didn't want to have to deal with a repairman coming, etc. but wanted you to know.

We had a wonderful time in London and we enjoyed our stay at Shrewsbury House. Thank you for making our stay in London so memorable.

It was fabulous! We loved being by the Prince Albert Bridge and the Thames and King's Road. Once we learned that the 19 bus took us to Sloane Square, it was quicker to get to the tube. We became very familiar with our immediate neighborhood and its yummy restaurants and pubs -- The Cross Keys was a favorite. Shopping at the M & S for our food was so easy and close. We had a wonderful time. I have already recommended your site to friends. I am going to re-tell about our two problems that you promptly and carefully resolved to our satisfaction and relief!
The first was the lack of dinner size plates, a coffee pot, and glasses. We let Lea aware of this problem and the issue was resolved immediately. (On checking the the lower cabinets we found an assortment of plates which had perhaps been put there by the cleaners. I think the plates and glassware for your renters need to be in the upper cabinets, organized so they can be accessed easily. )
We also had the trouble with the wifi. This too was eventually solved with the constant attention of Salla and the owner. We sincerely appreciated the immediate attention and solution of this necessity -- especially to travelers planning their visits and reservations.
Our pick up from and delivery to LHR by Cyril was perfect! He and his helpers are great ambassadors for you.
We also rearranged the drop leaf table to the driveway, west facing, window -- a charming view of the sky and of the gardens at Shrewsbury House and the homes behind -- so we had a lovely place to have our breakfast and dinner. We had to nudge the sofa down a bit to have room for two chairs. This was no problem for us, but some of your guests might be mystified about where two could eat comfortably -- not on their laps.

Our 8th stay with HFH. THANKS.

A charming real home in easy walking distance to wonderful parts of London and the Thames. The attraction would become superb if Cadogan Pier was more in service for tourist needs, as going by boat is certainly a pleasure.
