Area Description

Bayswater is one of London's most architecturally traditional areas. Ideally located in the residential area of Queen's Gardens. Enjoy a tranquil stroll through Hyde Park and emerge in the midst of London's shopping hub on Oxford and Regent Street. Head to the nearby West-end and soak up the sights and sounds of the capital's buzzing nightlife.


Property Description

General

A large, colourful three bedroom apartment on the ground level in a converted period building. High ceilings and windows which allow plenty of sunlight into the open living space. Perfect for entertaining guests or as a family base for sight-seeing! This property is non-smoking and has no landline available

Decor

Neutral decor with splashes of colour and bright artwork throughout.

Receptions

The front-facing reception room is spacious and bright with tall windows to catch plenty of sunlight. There's a large mahogany dining table to seat 6 and two big, plush 3-seater sofas with an assortment of colourful cushions. The room is decorated with some pretty, local artworks.

Kitchen

A compact, fully equipped kitchen including two Bodum coffee makers, oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. Adjacent to the kitchen is a separate breakfast bar area.

Bedrooms

The Master bedroom has ensuite (with shower), a double bed (135x190cm), a chest of drawers, bedside tables and a large window. The good-sized second bedroom has twin beds (90x190cm) with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a wash basin. The third bedroom contains a small single bed (75x190cm), chest of drawers and a desk.

Bathrooms

Master ensuite has a shower, a loo and a wash basin. The main bathroom has a bath with wall-mounted shower, a loo and wash basin. There is a small third shower room with an electric-running loo and a wash basin.

Why stay in Bayswater:

Bayswater is an area located in the City of Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The area has lovely streets and gardens squares lined with traditional Victorian style homes and is best described as ‘Diverse’ and ‘Cosmopolitan’. The vast majority of these properties have been converted into flats and are mainly residential properties.

Bayswater has an elegant feel. Everything you need is within walking distance and it is rare in London to find areas such as this. Its central location takes nothing away from its greenery. There are peaceful little parks dotted all over as well as it bordering on the mammoth Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.

According to many, Queensway is the heart and soul of the area with its bustling atmosphere with lots to see and do. Bayswater is a vibrant area on the north side of to the Hyde Park bordering with Notting Hill Gate and Mayfair. It has a great selection of world cuisine restaurants at very affordable prices, Whiteley's Shopping Mall and Queensway Ice Skating Rink. Further north is Little Venice, which has a canal running through it with boats that can be taken on the Regent's Canal and the Grand Union Canal – we suggest you put this on your ‘to do’ list!

It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hall bathroom was a little problem but it didn't bother us as the big bathroom was fine to use. Our trip was great fun!
