Area Description

Pimlico is a peaceful residential area, home to lots of grand white stucco houses and private garden squares. This area between Victoria and the river is a mix of grand Victorian terraces, historic buildings, government offices and modern apartment blocks. From the flat an interesting riverside walk could take you to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament or the Tate Britain art gallery. For a change of scene one could take a cruise along the Thames, downstream to Greenwich or upstream to Hampton Court. The area has easy access by bus and tube to all other parts of town, and there are plenty of shopping and dining options in the neighbourhood, with numerous restaurants, cafés, shops large and small and some outdoor markets.

Property Description

This spectacular family house is quietly situated in a friendly and beautiful London terrace 10 minutes' walk from Buckingham Palace. There a 7 bedrooms, a sitting room, an open-plan kitchen and dining room (seats 12), a conservatory-study, 3 bathrooms and 2 separate loos. The rooms spread over 4 floors (and some mezzanines), perfect for extended families. Maximum permitted occupancy is 12 people plus infants (2 x cots provided). Our check-in time is 2:00pm and our check-out time is 10:30am. On some occasions an early check-in / late check-out is possible – please enquire with the sales team.

Decor

Stylish but homely - the main rooms have ornate ceilings, marble fireplaces, chandeliers & working window-shutters yet the house is fitted with with every modern convenience.

Receptions

Cosy living room area with a large L-shaped sofa and two arm chairs. There is also a large TV and a working fireplace.

Kitchen

The Kitchen is open-plan to the dining room (which seats 12) and is very well equipped. Leading from the Kitchen is a suntrap terrace.

Bedrooms

The master bedroom (Top Floor rear - with ensuite bathroom) contains a King-size bed. So does the Top Floor front bedroom, where there is also a single sofa bed/futon. Two cots are provided. The bedroom on the floor below, behind the main sitting room, has two single beds. At Street Level, there is a bedroom with a double bed and an adjacent WC. On the Lower Ground Floor, with doors opening to the rear patio garden, are a single bedroom and a double bedroom (King-size bed). This is adjacent to a bathroom, as is the front (7th) bedroom, which has a King-size bed and a single sofa bed/futon. This is also adjacent to an additional separate WC.

Bathrooms

Leading off the master bathroom on the Top Floor is an ensuite bathroom, containing a bath (with shower attachment), bidet and WC. On the landing below is stand-alone shower room with WC. There are two additional separate WCs (Ground and Lower-Ground levels) as well as the third bathroom with bath, shower over, and WC.
