A delightful family home on a quiet street in Fulham. A most attractive, large and comfortable London rental.


Area Description

This is the area of Fulham below the King's Road, close to the many shops, restaurants and amenities of Wandsworth Bridge Road, with an award winning gourmet pub only minutes away. There are many buses that run along the nearby Wandsworth Bridge Road as well as three bus routes that run along Townmead Road, just 2 minutes away from the house, leading up to the King's Road and onto Sloane Square. There are excellent river walks nearby as well as a park with childrens play area. There is a large Sainsbury's supermarket 5 minutes walk away. The River Boat service runs from Chelsea Harbour which is also a spectacular way to see the city!


Property Description

General

A delightful three bedroom, 3 en-suite bathroom period house over three floors with a charming outside space. A non-smoking residence. Internet provided - Wifi and Broadband.

Receptions

The double reception room is downstairs as you walk into the property on the ground floor and boasts bay windows, two comfortable two seater sofas and two armchairs. It also has a decorative fireplace, smart TV with DVD (possibility to log in to Netflix and tv catch up), and an antique desk.

Kitchen

The sitting room leads through to the dining room which has a dining table seating 6 - 8. The dining room itself leads directly into the spacious kitchen which is very well fitted with an excellent range of cupboards, oven, 5 burner hob (stove top), microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There are French doors leading from the kitchen directly onto the pretty paved garden which has a table and chairs and many planted pots.

Bedrooms

The master bedroom is on the second floor in a bright and sunny loft. There is a super king-size (6.6ft) bed, a walk-in cupboard and balcony doors which open to allow for a refreshing breeze during the summer months. This room has air-conditioning. The large second bedroom is on the 1st floor with a king size bed (5ft), dressing table and plenty of cupboard space and natural light. The third bedroom is also on the third floor with a double bed (4.6ft) and good cupboard space. All bedrooms have flat screen TV’s.

Bathrooms

Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a toilet. The master bathroom has a bathtub and a separate power shower, a wash-hand basin and an element of beach cottage chic. The elegant second bathroom has a gorgeous Victorian free standing bathtub, toilet and a separate shower with cubicle. The third bathroom has a bathtub, hand-held shower, toilet and wash-hand basin.

Why stay in Fulham:

Fulham is a residential part of Kensington and Chelsea, with colourful cottages and big houses with lush gardens. It traces its history back to the 7th century.

A very popular and upmarket area of London, Fulham has plenty to offer in terms of bars, eateries and greenery. Brilliantly situated in West London, Fulham boarders with famous Chelsea and the beautiful settings of the River Thames. This lovely area of London is very family orientated and residential with plenty of parks and greens to enjoy: in the summer there are also open-air film screenings which we would most definitely recommend. The main attractions are along the Fulham Road leading to the Fulham Palace Gardens and the Thames. The area is dotted with antique shops, sumptuous flower and vegetable outlets, auction houses and furniture designer shops. There is an urban feel here with bustling cafes, shops and restaurants lining Fulham Road and New Kings Road. Fulham has a relaxed feel with numerous boutiques (Have a look at Indian Summer, Fulham Road).

We would suggest a worthwhile visit to the Fulham Palace where in summer you can picnic on the grounds or if the weather isn’t brilliant, eat scrumptious cake from the Fulham Palace café. You could even take in the wonderful views on one of the many river walks or if it takes your fancy, hop on a Thames Clipper river taxi and take a trip down the river (The best way to take in the sights!).

  • Me and my family had a wonderful stay in the property. It was clean, tidy, spacious and in a great location. Only negative I have is that it would be nice to be provided with more teas and coffees as there was quite a few of us in the property. But the Home from Home staff was lovely and really listened to what we were looking for in a property.
